Notes reflecting on our Project Proposal presentation and also some other tips for future presentations:

  • too much text on slides, don’t just read out the slides -> have keywords
  • aims=the brief, objectives=what we’re going to do (research, testing…)
  • reread the brief, underline the keywords
  • rewrite the brief and include the solution
  • no clipart
  • ask questions
  • recreate the presentation for next week (same slides can be used for upcoming research/prototype presentations)

Overview: In our last class meeting with Phil. We brought up that we were unsure of the customisable interests element to our app. Phil recommended that we do some last minute testing to see if people liked it. Week 2-3 Research GAMIFICATION: Pokémon Go: Games such as Pokémon Go make users exercise by engaging them in capturing Pokémon by walking to locations in real life.
